Sedet in tristitia, domina gentium.
Non est qui consoletur eam, nisi tu, Deus noster.

Está instalada en la tristeza;
No hay quien la pueda consolar, excepto tú, Dios nuestro.

Behold, O Lord, how the city full of riches is become desolate.
She sits in mourning, the mistress of the nations.
There is none to comfort her save only thou, our God.

Variant 1

Weeping, she has wept all night, And her tears are on her cheeks.
There is none to comfort her save only thou, our God.
