Audi dulcis amica mea,
auribus percipe verba oris mei:
Nigra es, sed formosa et macula non est in te,
ideo amore tuo langueo,
et quia tribulor, ad te confugio.
Exaudi, deprecor, orationem meam.

Veni plena gratiae1 in mulieribus,
descende in hortum meum, ubi flores et lilia.
Veni, veni dilecta mea et coronaberis,
speciosa nimis, intra in cubiculum meum,
et quoniam spes mea es tu, in te speravi.
Fiat super me misericordia tua.

1gratiae. 1545 Gardano edition. The 1539 Scotto edition has gratia.
