Ayez pitié du grand mal que je endure
Pour vous servir, sans me vouloir blasmer;
Amour vous peult comme moy faire aymer,
Et du passé faire payer le usure.

English.png English translation

Have pity at the torment I endure
To serve you, and do not seek to chide me,
Love could also cause love to grow in thee,
And thus full payment for the past ensure.
