Category:Annunciation
The Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord ordinarily falls on March 25, unless there is a conflict with the Easter cycle. If it falls in the triduum or in the octave of Easter it is usually transfered to the second Monday after Easter Sunday.
See also the appointed Vesper hymn Ave maris stella as well as pieces related to the Incarnation, such as Verbum caro factum est.
