Description: Scored for three voices: Tenor-Treble-Bass. Words by Isaac Watts, 1707, from Hymns and Spiritual Songs, Hymn 102 of Book 1, entitled The Beatitudes, with eight stanzas. Belknap used the first two stanzas of Watts' hymn in his composition.
