Died: 14 Jul 1934

Biography

Born and died in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Although not a professional musician (he was a professor on the Navy University in Bakar, Croatia), Dugan was a very gifted composer of his generation. A special place in his work take the arrangements of folk songs, where we can often hear the old-liturgical tonalities. Most popular pieces for choir are Zahvalnica, Jurjevske pjeseme, Staroslavenska misa.
