In illo tempore:
Assumpsit Iesus duodecim discipulos suos secreto,
et ait illis:
Ecce ascendimus Ierosolymam
et consumabuntur omnia
quæscripta sunt per prophetas
de filio hominis:
tradetur enim gentibus,
et illudetur, et flagellabitur et conspuetur:
et postquam flagellaverint,
occident eum,
et tertia die resurget.

English.png English translation
In that time:
Jesus took his twelve disciples aside
and said to them:
Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem,
and everything will be fulfilled,
which the prophets have written
about the Son of Man:
he will be handed over to the Gentiles
and mocked, whipped, and spat upon:
and after he has been scourged,
he will be put to death,
and on the third day he will rise up.
Mark 10:32-34
