Latin.png Latin text

Introduxit me rex in cellam vinariam ordinavit in me charitatem.
Fulcite me floribus, stipate me malis quia amore langueo.
Adjuro vos, filiæ Jerusalem, ne suscitetis,
neque evigilare faciatis dilectam, donec ipsa velit.

English.png English translation

He [the king] brought me into the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: because I am sick of love.
I charge ye, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, that ye stir not up,
nor awake my love, till he please.
