Born: 17 January 1815, Spartanburg County, South Carolina

Died: 30 July 1901, Cobb County, Georgia

Biography Matilda T. Durham was a singing teacher, songwriter, and author of Baptist religious tracts. She contributed to William Walker's Southern Harmony and other books. After the Civil War she moved to Cobb County, Georgia.
