  • (Posted 2012-11-13)  CPDL #27589:        (Sibelius 7)
Editor: Edmund Gooch (submitted 2012-11-13).   Score information: A4, 2 pages, 45 kB   Copyright: Public Domain
Edition notes: The alto part is printed in the source in the treble clef, an octave above sounding pitch. No indication is given of the text other than the heading 'Psalm ye 117th', or of how this text should be underlaid. As the psalm tunes in the book either specify that New Version texts should be used, or do not specify a version, it has been assumed that for this tune, the Old Version text should be used. For this reason, the two verses of the Old Version text of Ps. 117, by Thomas Norton, have been underlaid editorially.
