Ecchoing

I guess this is an olde spellinge, but the title with just one "c" (be it echoing or ech'ing) is far more common on the internet and would make the work more easily found. —Carlos Email.gif 13:52, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

I've added a redirect for the tile without the double-C in ecchoing, to make it easier to find via a search. But I am also wondering if we should modernize the spelling on the page listing and composer's page, while keeping a redirect for the archaic spelling instead. There is some discussion about this at Talk:John_Dowland, though Dowland is earlier and spelling was more variable during the Renaissance. -- Vaarky 05:45, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
