The Columbia external link gives a different version of the text. A mystery! Richard Mix (talk) 21:28, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

very attentive, richard! let's say it's a mixtery.. medieval italian can be so confusing, different spellings everywhere, even in one text, or even in one sentence! so the score's text was slightly edited, as well as the columbian text, perhaps not for the best, who's to say? btw, thanks for your meticulous and extremely fast post-editing of some or most of my other contribs! If you could add underlay text on each page you add to CPDL, I would have less work and we could avoid mistakes ;-) Claude (talk) 07:29, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
hi claude! if with "underlay text" you mean placing text in the category "text & translations": no problem with that, although one could argue that the text is in the score, in this case even in a separate block on the score). this would not however exclude grave differences in text between the score and links to websites delivering their more or less authentic version of the text with the benefit of a translation. and it would not be a mortal sin for an admin to have an occasional textless contribution on the site, or would it? -) Tulipo Petressian 10:08, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
You're absolutely right. Claude (talk) 10:37, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
…and I just got confused at lining up Ellingwood's lines with this page's layout ;-| Nice to meet you, Tulipo! I'm very much enjoying your contributions. Richard Mix (talk) 23:32, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
