Description: The 1835 arrangement by William Walker was included in The Sacred Harp, p. 44 from 1844 to the present. Walker wrote an Alto part in 1867, which was included in The Sacred Harp in the 1911 edition and afterwards. Words by Samuel Stennett, 1787, with six stanzas. Moore used the first two stanzas of Stennett's hymn in his composition.
