(Nieuwe Bijbel Vertaling)
Het is goed de HEER te loven,
uw naam te bezingen, Allerhoogste,
in de morgen te getuigen van uw liefde
en in de nacht van uw trouw,
bij de klank van de tiensnarige harp
en bij het ruisend spel op de lier.

(King James)
[It is a] good [thing] to give thanks unto the LORD,
and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning,
and thy faithfulness every night,
Upon an instrument of ten strings,
and upon the psaltery;
upon the harp with a solemn sound.

English.png English translation by Mick Swithinbank

Meet and right it is to acknowledge you, God, for your blessings,
to praise your name in song, for you are great,
to make your goodness known at dawn,
to glorify your truth in the night-time.
Let us exalt your great power, Lord,
to the sound of the harp, with devotion and with songs.
