Welcome

Hi Michael, and welcome to CPDL! You submitted a composition of yours titled Ave Verum Corpus, but you uploaded a different file (Omni die dic Mariae) by another composer. Please upload also a PDF of your composition so that a page may be created for it. Thank you! —Carlos Email.gif 16:21, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi again, Michael. The page for Omni die dic Mariae has just been created, ok? I just noticed some non-standard syllable divisions in the Latin text. Usually clusters of consonants are split with the first going to the preceding syllable; so, according to this rule we'd have: ip-sam, fes-ta, ges-ta, ge-ni-tri-cem, coe-les-ti-a. But this is a really minor issue. I've also corrected the MIDI file as you requested. Regarding this, here's a tip: everytime you need to update a file, just re-upload the new version with exactly the same name as the old file, and it will be overwritten with the new one, ok? Hi, thanks for your email, I should have imagined that the different word division was made on purpose, it can help some singers indeed. Regards, —Carlos Email.gif 16:08, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
