Three years later he entered the Seminary of La Plata city, where he continued his musical studies, and eventually he was ordained as a Catholic priest. In 1973 he was invited by a friend to visit Puerto Rico and decided to stay in that country, establishing himself in the city of Ponce. In the same year he founded the Choir of the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico (''Coro de la PUCPR'').
