General Information

Title: Ave Maria
Composer: Mark Chapman

Number of voices: 6vv   Voicing: SSATTB

Genre: SacredMotet

Language: Latin
Instruments: A cappella

First published:

Description: The piece is built on an original cantus firmus, used in various voices. All six parts only sound together for the second "mortis nostrae" and final Amen fugato. The choir performing this should probably have at least 24 members, and it would sound well with a choir of 100 or more. Please let the composer know (maarvarq@gmail.com) if you intend to perform it.
