Description: Single aria for alto, a reworking of "Dein Kreuz, o Bräutigam meiner Seelen" from Stölzel's 1720 Passion Oratorio Ein Lämmlein geht und trägt die Schuld. It is believed Bach made the adaptation in 1742 or 1743 as part of a lost cantata for Purification.
