Domenica VI post Pentecosten or the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost corresponds to the Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Gospel of the loaves and fishes (Mark 8) giving way in the three-year lectionary to the admonition against fearfulness (Matt. 10:26-33), the calming of the tempest (Mark 4:35-41) and the exhortation to take up the cross (Luke 9:18-24).
