Domenica XVIII post Pentecosten or the Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost corresponds to the Twenty-fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time, the healing of the paralytic (Matthew 9) giving way in the three-year lectionary giving way to the merciless creditor (Matt. 18:21-35), Peter's confession of Christ (Mark 8:27-35), and the prodigal son (Luke 15:1-32).
