His love for drawing and painting brought him closer to what today he calls his "LOVE" - Church Music in the year 1987 when Albert Euba his classmate caught him drawing the musical clef and notes without Chibuike himself knowing that does were musical notes. Albert now took him to his church, Methodist Church, Olowogbowo, Lagos Island, Lagos State, Nigeria were Chibuike received his first musical lessons and from thence he developed interest in music. It was also at this period that Chibuike joined the St. Peter's Anglican Church Choir, Ijeshated, Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria were also his parents worship in.
