The Passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem;
and there, in the Temple he saw men
trading in oxen and sheep and doves and the money-changers sitting there.
He made a whip and drove them all out of the Temple.
He poured out the changers’ money and overthrew their tables.
And to them that sold the doves he said, "Don’t make my Father's house a marketplace!"
And then they remembered that it was written, "The zeal of thy house devours me."
