- Ecce tu pulcher es dilecte mi et decorus.
- Lectulus noster floridus,
- tigna domorum nostrarum cedrina,
- laquearia cupressina.
- Ego flos campi et lilium convallium.
English translation
- Behold thou art fair, my beloved, and comely.
- Our bed is flourishing.
- The beams of our houses are of cedar,
- our rafters of cypress trees.
- I am the flower of the field,
- and the lily of the valleys.
