Auf heilgem Berg, die er lieb hat,
Die Tor Zion sind schön erbaut,
Der Herr auf Jakobs Wohnung schaut.

2  Man predigt in ihr herrlich Ding,
Hilf Gott, dass deinem Werk geling,
Dass Rahab, Babel herkomm
Und Heiden viel in großer Summ.

3  Aus Tyro und Philisterland
Wollst bringen her durch deine Hand,
Dass sie da wohnen, auch die Mohrn
Lass darin werden neu geborn.

4  Man wird zu Zion sagen wohl,
Dass hier geboren werden soll
Allerlei Volk zum Himmelreich,
Die Stadt der Höchste bauet reich.

5  Das Evangelium wird man hörn
In allen Sprachen treulich lehrn,
Dadurch erzeugt Gott sein Kind,
Die nach seim Nam genennet sind.

6  Man wird singen am Reihen schon
Des Herren Gsang mit süßem Ton,
Eins um das ander singt mit Freud
Und lobet Gott in Ewigkeit.
