Fiammeggiavan due stelle a me d'intorno,
Rasserenand'et rallegrando il core.
Ma per seren maggiore
Mancava un lume a rischiarir il giorno.
Quand'ecco aprir il mondo.
Quel raggio si giocondo,
Che poi s'ascose a guisa d'un baleno.
