Description: First published in Wyeth's Repository, Part Second for three voices: Treble-Tenor-Bass. Revised by Ananias Davisson in Kentucky Harmony, 1816, with a fourth (Counter) voice. Words by Isaac Watts, 1719, paraphrase of Psalm 17, Part 2, with six stanzas. Dare used stanzas four and five in his composition.
