Latin text 116:1  Laudate Dominum omnes gentes; laudate eum omnes populi, 116:2  Quoniam confirmata est super nos misericordia ejus, et veritas Domini manet in aeternam. 117:1  Confitemini Domino, quoniam bonus, quoniam in saeculum misericordia ejus. 24:17  Tribulationes cordis mei dilatati sunt de necessitatibus eripe me Domine 24:18b  et dimitte omnia peccata mea.

English translation 117:1  O praise the Lord, all ye heathen: praise him, all ye nations. 117:2  For his merciful kindness is ever more and more towards us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. 118:1  O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is gracious: because his mercy endureth for ever. 25:16  The sorrows of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my troubles. 25:17b  and forgive me all my sin.
