German text Ich bin die Wurzel des Geschlechtes David, ein heller Morgenstern. Es spricht, der solches zeuget: Ja, ich komme bald. Amen, ja komm, Herr Jesu. Die Gnade unsers Herren Jesu Christi sei mit euch allen.

English translation I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the brilliant morning star. The one who has spoken these things says: Yes, I am coming soon. Amen, so come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all of you.
