German text 9:7  Iss dein Brot mit Freuden und trinke deinen Wein mit gutem Muth. 3:12  Es ist nichts bessers denn fröhlich sein und ihm gütlich thun in seinem Leben. 8:15  Ich lobe die Freude, dass der Mensch nichts bessers hat unter der Sonnen. 3:13  Denn ein jeglicher Mensch, der da isset und trinket und hat guten Mut in aller seiner Arbeit, das ist eine Gabe Gottes.

English translation 9:7  Eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a good heart. 3:12  There is nothing better than being happy and doing good in your life. 8:15  I rejoice that man has nothing better to do under the sun. 3:13  Because every person who eats and drinks and works with a good heart has a gift from God.   Translation by James Gibb
