Latin text 13  Isti qui amicti sunt stolis albis, qui sunt? et unde venerunt? 14  Respondit unus de senioribus et dixit mihi: hi sunt qui venerunt de tribulatione magna, et laverunt stolas suas, et dealbaverunt eas in sanguine Agni. 15  Ideo sunt ante thronum Dei et serviunt ei die ac nocte in templo eius. Et qui sedet in throno habitat super illos.

English translation 13  Who are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14  And one of the elders said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15  Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
