Jesus, savior, Jesus, comforter,
Jesus, source of our hope and strength,
we pray for mercy, we pray for healing.
We lay our burdens and cares in your hands,
knowing, Lord Jesus, that you understand.

Lord, I was lost, Lord, i was drifting,
floating along like a leaf on the wind.
One day you came to me, held out your hand to me,
folding me into your arms like a child,
touching my heart with the warmth of your smile.

You knew my pain; you knew my sorrow;
you knew the loneliness deep in my soul.
Then, Lord, you healed me; hope was restored in me.
My heart took flight with the angels above,
soaring so high on the wings of your love.

Jesus, savior, Jesus, comforter,
Jesus, source of our hope and strength,
fill all our emptiness, fill us with gladness.
Lord, in your mercy, hear us, we pray;
o loving Jesus, bless us this day.
