L'oeil donne au coeur adresse par son aspect,
le coeur sans l'oeil ne pourrait rien choisir.
Donc, si l'oeil fait que le coeur s'adresse,
contentement vient tôt.
Mais le coeur aime trop le plaisir
que l'oeil ne saurait avoir.
Las, le coeur est le siège du désir
duquel les yeux ne sont que la fenêtre.
