Biography
Don Lorenzo Calvi is mainly known for collecting sacred renaissance Italian music, from various composers (such as Monteverdi, Grandi and himself) into several 17th century publications. From 1609 to 1626 he was maestro di cappella of Pavia Cathedral, where he also sang bass.
