- Lux aeterna luceat eis, Domine,
- cum sanctis tuis in aeternum,
- quia pius es.
- Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine,
- et lux perpetua luceat eis.
English translation
- Let perpetual light shine upon them, O Lord,
- with your saints for ever,
- for you are merciful.
- Grant them eternal rest, O Lord,
- and let perpetual light shine upon them.
German translation
- Ewiges Licht leuchte ihnen, Herr,
- mit deinen Heiligen in Ewigkeit,
- denn du bist gnädig.
- Ewige Ruhe gib ihnen, Herr,
- und ewiges Licht leuchte ihnen.
Dutch translation
- Moge het eeuwige licht hen beschijnen, Heer,
