- Lux aeterna luceat eis, Domine,
- cum sanctis tuis in aeternum,
- quia pius es.
- Requiem aeternam, dona eis, Domine,
- et lux perpetua luceat eis.
English translation
- Let light eternal shine on them, O Lord,
- with thy saints forever,
- for thou art merciful.
- Rest eternal grant them, O Lord,
- and let perpetual light shine on them.
German translation
- Ewiges Licht leuchte ihnen, Herr,
- mit deinen Heiligen in Ewigkeit,
- denn du bist gnädig.
- Ewige Ruhe gib ihnen, Herr,
- und ewiges Licht leuchte ihnen.
Dutch translation
- Moge het eeuwige licht hen beschijnen, Heer,
- met uw heiligen tot in eeuwigheid,
