né quest’ultimo suono espresse intero;
e cadde tramortita e si diffuse
di gelato sudore, e i lumi chiuse.

there, fallen suffering amidst the blood and the dead,
you will pay for my sorrows, cruel warrior.
Frequently you will by name Armida
in your final sobs; that's what I hope to hear.»
Then the strength left her, sorrowful,
she didn't even finish this last sound;
and fell, stunned and was overcome
by a freezing sweat, and closed her eyes.

tu me payeras pour mes peines, guerrier inique.
Le souffle manqua alors à la dolente,
qui ne put réussit même à prononcer ce dernier son en entier;

ni este último sonido expresó entero;

wirst mein Leid du mir bezahlen, grausamer Krieger.
