Edition notes: Transposed to sounding pitch at the lower fifth, note values have been halved. The ranges of the basses take a sudden dive in the final verse, so perhaps it's better to sing it at a slightly higher pitch if one does not posses exceptionally deep basses. Mensural barlines, original pitch and clef given in incipits at the start of each section. Editorial accidentals are placed above staff. For convenience of performance, the Liber Usualis chants are included between the even verses, their inclusion does not imply any authenticity in connection with the polyphonic magnificats.
