Latin.png Latin text

Nil canitur iucundius,
auditur nil suavius,
nil cogitatur dulcius,
nihil datur melius
producitur nil pulchrius,
quam Jesulus parvulus.

Jesus, dulcedo cordium,
magnum lumen mentium,
excedens omne gaudium,
omne desiderium,
tu es verum solatium
omnium mortalium.

English.png English translation

Nothing more joyous can be sung,
nothing more agreeable heard,
nothing sweeter thought,
nothing better can be given,
nothing prettier produced
than the infant child Jesus.

Jesus, sweetness of the hearts,
great light of the minds,
exceeding all joys
and all desires,
you are the true solace
of all mortal beings.
