Latin.png Latin text

O bone Iesu, duo in me agnosco:
Amen.

Kind Jesus, I discern two sides within myself:
the nature which you wrought and what I have learned myself.
I confess that through my faults I have deformed my nature.
Remember that I am a spirit that is striving without attaining what it would:
attainment is beyond me.
Therefore, sweet Jesus, take my deeds away from me
so that what you made may persist
and what you redeemed with your precious blood may not perish.
Amen.
