Pane angelico et divino
sacra mensa nostram famem satiat et nectare caelesti
Animam fidelem recreat
De caelo rapidi o chori angelici venite volate
Et Dei beneficj amore stupidi sic exclamate
O summi benefitij o admirandi prodigij
ineffabilis excessus
o incomparabilis divino amore
fragili creaturae honor concessus
Tanto prodigio triumpha amor
exulta in gaudio beatum cor
Fortunati mortales mensae Caelestis gustate delitias
et angelico pane refecti cantando iubilate.

German translation
Mit englischem und göttlichem Brot
sättigt die heilige Tafel unseren Hunger und mit himmlischem Nektar
erfrischt sie die gläubige Seele.
Vom Himmel rasch, o Engelschöre, kommt, fliegt
und verblüfft über die Liebe des wohltätigen Gottes ruft so aus:
O höchster Wohltat und bewunderungswürdigen Wunderzeichens
unaussprechliches Übermaß,
o unvergleichliche, aus göttlicher Liebe
dem gebrechlichen Geschöpf gewährte Ehre.
Über ein so großes Wunderzeichen triumphiere, Liebe,
juble in Freude, seliges Herz.
Glückliche Sterbliche, kostet die Wonnen der himmlischen Tafel
und durch das Engelsbrot erquickt jubelt mit Singen.
