Biography
Philip Loots started his career at an early age as organist in Amsterdam. After studying at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, he was appointed organist of St. Antony’s in Haarlem in 1882. He also conducted R.C. choral societies and worked a music critic for a Haarlem newspaper. Most of his compositions are church music.
