Plaudat nunc organis Maria,
et inter veloces articulos tympana puerperae concrepent.
Concinant laetantes chori,
et alternantibus modulis dulcisona carmina misceantur.
Audite ergo quemadmodum timpanistria nostra cantaverit.
Ait enim: Magnificat anima mea Dominum:
et exsultavit spiritus meus in Deo salutari meo.

Maria now gives praise on instruments,
and with speedy fingerwork rattles the timbrels for a new birth.
Joyful quiristers celebrate in song,
and in differing measures add their sweet-sounding songs.
Listen then how our timbrellist celebrates through music.
For she affirms: "My soul doth magnify the Lord
And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour".
