1 cantate Domino canticum novum cantate Domino omnis terra
2 cantate Domino benedicite nomini eius adnuntiate diem de die salutare eius
3 adnuntiate inter gentes gloriam eius in omnibus populis mirabilia eius
4 quoniam magnus Dominus et laudabilis valde terribilis est super omnes deos
5 quoniam omnes dii gentium daemonia at vero Dominus caelos fecit
6 confessio et pulchritudo in conspectu eius sanctimonia et magnificentia in sanctificatione eius
7 adferte Domino patriae gentium adferte Domino gloriam et honorem
8 adferte Domino gloriam nomini eius tollite hostias et introite in atria eius
9 adorate Dominum in atrio sancto eius commoveatur a facie eius universa terra
10 dicite in gentibus quia Dominus regnavit etenim correxit orbem qui non movebitur iudicabit populos in aequitate
11 laetentur caeli et exultet terra commoveatur mare et plenitudo eius
12 gaudebunt campi et omnia quae in eis sunt tunc exultabunt omnia ligna silvarum
13 a facie Domini quia venit quoniam venit iudicare terram iudicabit orbem terrae in aequitate et populos in veritate sua

English text
1 O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.
2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7 Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
8 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

1 Singet dem HERRN ein neues Lied; singet dem HERRN, alle Welt!
2 Singet dem HERRN und lobet seinen Namen; prediget einen Tag am andern sein Heil!
3 Erzählet unter den Heiden seine Ehre, unter allen Völkern seine Wunder!
4 Denn der HERR ist groß und hoch zu loben, wunderbarlich über alle Götter.
5 Denn alle Götter der Völker sind Götzen; aber der HERR hat den Himmel gemacht.
6 Es stehet herrlich und prächtig vor ihm und gehet gewaltiglich und löblich zu in seinem Heiligtum.
7 Ihr Völker, bringet her dem HERRN, bringet her dem HERRN Ehre und Macht!
8 Bringet her dem HERRN die Ehre seinem Namen; bringet Geschenke und kommt in seine Vorhöfe!
9 Betet an den HERRN in heiligem Schmuck; es fürchte ihn alle Welt!
10 Sagt unter den Heiden, daß der HERR König sei und habe sein Reich, soweit die Welt ist, bereitet, daß es bleiben soll, und richtet die Völker recht
11 Himmel freue sich, und Erde sei fröhlich; das Meer brause, und was drinnen ist;
12 das Feld sei fröhlich und alles, was drauf ist; und lasset rühmen alle Bäume im Walde
13 vor dem HERRN; denn er kommt, denn er kommt, zu richten das Erdreich. Er wird den Erdboden richten mit Gerechtigkeit und die Völker mit seiner Wahrheit.
