Life

Born: 14 March 1735, Kirkby-Over Blows, England

Died: 25 February 1824, York, England

Biography Richard Burdsall early became a leader among the Wesleyans, and so continued to the end of life. He became a local preacher at age 27, and continued for sixty-two years a faithful preacher of the Gospel. He was gifted with an uncommon power of memory, especially of scripture. His sermons were described as very impressive (extracted from Hatfield 1884, pp. 115-116).
