Suscepimus, Deus, misericordiam tuam in medio templi tui:
secundum nomen tuum, Deus:
ita et laus tua in fines terrae:
justitia plena est dextera tua.

(Introit:)
Magnus Dominus, et laudabilis nimis:
in civitate Dei nostri, in monte sancto ejus.
Gloria Patri

(Gradual:)

Sicut audivimus, ita et vidimus
in civitate Dei nostri, in monte sancto ejus.
English.png English translation

We have received Thy mercy, O God, in the midst of Thy temple,
according to Thy Name, O God,
so also is Thy praise unto the ends of the earth;
Thy right hand is full of justice.

Great is the Lord, and exceedingly to be praised,
in the city of God, in His holy mountain.

As we have heard, so have we seen,
in the city of our God, on his holy mountain.
