Take my hand and we’ll dream
Though our love is hardly new
Seems the years sensed the chill
in the morning and away they flew
So we stand in their wake
Like a memory unclear
But our joy reminisces forever here.

We were blessed long ago
With our youth and passions high
And my ring on your hand
glittered like the sunrise in your eye.
Yet the journey is fraught
With its storms and winters too
Still I’ve no other love to embrace but you.

Mountains are hard to climb,
Oceans a dread to cross
Facing the vast terrain
all hope is easily lost.
When nature’s threads seem frayed
Softly I feel your hand
And I’m strong thru our faith
in the three fold strand.

Smile again sweet my love
And we’ll sing the ages through
Seems the night sensed the sun
on the hillside and away it flew.
So let’s rest and we’ll laugh
At the way our love endures
Hearts as one, yours as mine, just as mine is yours.
