Can anyone explain why the Vulgate text is shown associated with Psalm 116 instead of 117?
- You may wish to check out an explanation on the Psalm information page. There are also a lot of links on the web. Admin 11:15, 29 August 2006 (PDT)
Mistake in Vulgate text
I have consulted several sources and it seems that the final word of verse 2 is "aeternum" rather than "saeculum". Incidentally, what is the source of these Vulgate texts? Bobnotts 05:24, 14 December 2006 (PST)
Another newly added work using this text
I think it is aeternum as well. Jan Pieters Sweelinck's piece "Laudate Dominum" uses "aeternum".
Is there any necessary hook that gets added so this work shows up on the Psalm text page ?
