There are two score errors in Brian Russell's edition:

• Tenor, bar 2, note 2 must be D.
• Bass, bar 7, note 2 must be B flat.

I've fixed them, but I don't know what to do with the fixes. It seems wrong to assign a new CPDL number to them, but I don't know how to upload the files in any other way. What is customary policy? Brian can't make the corrections. Rp (talk) 13:51, 13 October 2014 (UTC)

Clicking on the previous filename, you'll be taken to another page with an option "Upload a new version of this file". Follow that link and you will overwrite Brian's version with yours; nothing else is required from your part. The files 042.mid and 042.nwc are kept on a different file repository and cannot be overwritten from this wiki. If you wish to upload corrected versions of them, too, please use different filenames, such as File:042-corrected.mid and File:042-corrected.nwc (click on these names to upload each file). On the text of this song

There seems to be some discrepancies with regards to the text in different editions of this song, even when ignoring the differences in the spelling of early/modern French.

This includes:

1st verse, 2nd line: le dieu (as in the text written below), or le roi

1st verse, 3rd line: en faict, et dictz, or en fais, en dits (with the different spelling, it would probably be pronounced differently for early French?)

1st verse, 5th line: mais apres dueil, or et puis apres or et apres dueil

1st verse, 10th line: mon cueur est sien, or le mien est sien
