Rob, do you think it necessary to state that the composer is "out of copyright"? This information seems a bit superfluous to me. What do others think? —Carlos Email.gif 18:31, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, fair enough. I guess the reason I included it was because I was comparing it to Template:AffiliateLink at the time. I'm happy for it to be removed but a note for usage on the page may be useful to people who want to use it (as opposed to Template:AffiliateLink). --Bobnotts talk 13:17, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

We might change the bold-type sentence to something like:

Although works by this composer are not subject to copyright, no editions have yet been contributed CPDL. ...

I think this both conveys the intent of the template's usage and parallels the language of AffiliateLink.
