The Triumphs of Oriana is a book of English madrigals written in honor of Queen Elizabeth. The volume was published by [[Thomas Morley]] in 1601. It consists of 25 pieces by 23 composers (Morley and [[Ellis Gibbons]] each have two madrigals). Each madrigal ends with the final phrase: “Thus sang the shepherds and nymphs of Diana: long live fair Oriana.”
